So my life decided to go from boring to monkey-fuck insane about 2 weeks ago. Things seem to be returning to normal now, but where I'm going to live is kind of up in the air at the moment.
Where I currently live is making me die. Seriously. I've had 3 upper respiratory infections in less than a year. It's not that dirty of a house, but the shower is very poorly ventilated and that just builds up the mold and mildew. The washing machine also seems to be mildewy.
I hadn't originally planned to stay with my group of friends and roommates for another year, but thanks to life getting wild, I'm gonna have to. The thing that sucks is that no one wants to stay in the house we're in. We're trying to get a new place, signed in to a lease, and completely moved in there before June 1st. We don't really know if that will happen for sure and if we don't find out soon enough, our current landlord might not be interested in renewing with us.
So until that gets straightened out. I'm not going to do much with this site. It's very nerve racking, I must say. Hopefully, it'll all work out.

sorry for the lack of updates. my whole life is flipping around again (it happened last year too). it doesn't really make any sense and i'm pretty upset.
there's nothing i can do at the moment. when i get to a better spot mentally, i'll be back more frequently.

I added 2 things today:
1. An example of Luhn Validation in Erlang.
2. A Find and Replace utility in Python.
Nothing to get excited about. In all honesty, I didn't feel like emailing the find and replace script to myself, so I decided to "release" it here (more like keep it here for archival purposes). The Erlang thing I did a while ago in my very, very brief "Erlang could be the next big thing," phase. I just happened to notice it as I was writing up the readme for the python util.
In other news, PatOrJK has expressed interest in opening a forum. It's a good idea, so please go to his site and let him know it is.

KJ2 is almost done. There's a bunch of things on my TODO list, but most of it is enhancements. At the moment, I'm torn between adding features and just releasing it because:
1) I'm tired of working on it,
2) Probably no one will play it, and,
3) My lack of art skills really hampers my ability to add features.
Right now, I'm just planning to run a few tests and release it. I know there will be issues because Microsoft decided that releasing 5000 versions of the D3DX util library was a good idea.
I've been looking in to Flash development, but I can't afford it really, so I am looking at Open-source Flash. If anyone has pointers on how to get started with OSFlash (without using Eclipse), I'd appreciate it.
