Ok, the site isn't going down...not for a while at least.
More info soon.

Site might go down again. i'm probably about to make the person who hosts me (or at least pays the bills) not happy. and there's also the possibility that i might not be able to afford hosting on my own, so the site might go down for a long time, if not permanently. i have asked friends for a sub-domain before, but I can't rely on people (which is why the site was gone for so long this past year).
there are a lot of maybes in there, plus i feel like crap. so we'll see what happens.

I added a small example in Python today.
Actually, I had done it before in C long long ago.
More soon hopefully.

I'd just like to say that as of yesterday, my site in some form (this or Sloatworks) has been online for 10 years.
Nuts to fanfare and celebrations.

I've been blocking IP addresses from spammers. Hopefully I'm not blocking anyone who might access the site legitimately.
Unfortunately, most CAPTCHA solutions suck and I don't really want to discourage comments because I'm really starting to find an audience :P
Anyway, I've continued moving forward with the Pylons-based work project using FormEncode. I'm just too lazy right now to work on something else.
At home I've been playing with Python-Ogre a little bit. It seems pretty straight forward although the 3D concepts aren't the hard part. For me it's content. Models and art stuff that I'm just no good at.
That's it for now. Good night and good luck.
